The theme this month on Daily Deviant (no relation to DA) was mock marriage, where someone marries a tree or other generally non marriageable thing to take advantage of a legal or moral loophole. ?

Anyhoo, this is what came to mind. My husband thought perhaps that he should be marrying the Whomping willow, but I was afraid to even try to draw that, so Giant Squid is was!
